Shreya Raman

Based in Mumbai and Goa, India, Shreya Raman is an independent data journalist reporting on gender, health, and labor and public policy.
She previously worked as a journalist for IndiaSpend and Mirror Now. She has won the Laadli Media Award for Gender Sensitivity, the Likho Award for Excellence in Media, and she has worked on a series that won the prestigious Society of Publishers in Asia Awards.
Raman has received grants and fellowships from the International Center for Journalists, the International Women's Media Foundation, and the Population Reference Bureau.
Her work has been published in Foreign Policy, The Fuller Project, and Nikkei Asia.
