Minerva Vitti

Journalist Minerva Vitti graduated from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello of Caracas, Venezuela, and the university's Advanced Studies in Investigative Journalism program.

She is a researcher at Fundación Centro Gumilla of Venezuela, dedicated to Indigenous issues, socio-environmental justice, and ecology.

Vitti is also a member of the Pan-Amazonian Ecclesial Network and the Network of Solidarity and Indigenous Apostolate of the Conference of Jesuit Provincials in Latin America and the Caribbean.

She is the author of the book The Force of Jebumataro: Stories of Dispossession and Strength of Indigenous Venezuela.
