Katelyn Ferral

Katelyn Ferral is an investigative reporter at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Prior to that, she was a reporter at the Cap Times in Madison, Wisconsin.
She covered the energy industry for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and government for the Raleigh News & Observer. In 2019-20, she was an O’Brien fellow in Public Service Journalism at Marquette University.
Ferral has a bachelor’s degree from Marquette and a master’s from the University of North Carolina. In early 2022 she was assigned to the Ukraine region to report on the conflict there for the Journal Sentinel and USA Today.
