Ankita Mukhopadhyay
2022 POST-GRAD REPORTING FELLOW
Ankita Mukhopadhyay graduated with a master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism in 2022, specializing in media innovation and content strategy. She is now a product manager at Politico. Ankita worked for more than five years in India before moving to the U.S. to study at Medill. She has worked for Deutsche Welle (DW), Gartner and The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) in India. As DW's correspondent, she covered several high-profile investigative stories on the COVID-19 crisis in India. She has also been featured on DW's show, To The Point.
Ankita has also lived in the U.K., and has a master's degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She hopes to use highlight stories of under-represented communities and give them a voice through her reporting.
