The IDN Times' Forestalk Podcast is a special coverage program for March 2021, commemorating World Wildlife Day on March 3 and International Day of Forests on March 21. This chat program, presented every Thursday, talks about tropical rainforests in Pekalongan, Central Java, along with all of the community and conservation measures that ensure biodiversity is protected. This third episode presents Tasuri, a native who was a former poacher and logger in the forest. Tasuri talks a lot about the ups and downs of his life as a poacher and logger, including the story of how he stopped completely, repentant for his past poaching and logging. He talks about the threat of the forest today, as illegal logging and poaching have increased. Millennials and Gen-Z must know because it will add insight, so that they will care more about the environment's survival in the future. Watch the talk on YouTube, Instagram (IGTv), and Spotify IDN Times accounts.
