Appel à candidatures : Réunion du Rainforest Journalism Fund dans le Bassin du Congo

Le Centre Pulitzer a le plaisir de vous annoncer que dans le cadre du Rainforest Journalism Fund, nous acceptons en ce moment les candidatures de journalistes travaillant dans le Bassin du Congo et souhaitant participer à un atelier de trois jours et à une réunion de réseautage à Kinshasa, en République démocratique du Congo. La date limite de dépôt des candidatures est fixée au 29 février 2020.

Le Pulitzer Center prendra en charge les frais de transport, d'hébergement, de restauration et de boissons non alcoolisées pour la durée de la réunion pour les candidats sélectionnés. La réunion sera ouverte à un maximum de 20 journalistes sélectionnés dans toute la région du Bassin du Congo, y compris les bénéficiaires du Rainforest Journalism Fund. Les journalistes indépendants (freelance) ainsi que les salariés de toutes nationalités sont invités à soumettre leur candidature. La priorité sera accordée aux journalistes qui couvrent les questions environnementales dans les pays suivants : Cameroun, République centrafricaine, République démocratique du Congo, Congo-Brazzaville, Guinée équatoriale et Gabon.

Les ateliers seront adaptés aux défis spécifiques ou aux questions clés pour le reportage sur les questions environnementales du Bassin du Congo. Ils se dérouleront du 22 au 24 mai à Kinshasa, en République démocratique du Congo. Les candidats doivent consentir d'arriver à Kinshasa le jeudi 21 mai et être disponibles jusqu'au dimanche 24 mai afin de pouvoir participer à l'ensemble de la réunion du Rainforest Journalism Fund dans le bassin du Congo. Les candidats seront responsables de l'obtention des visas de voyage nécessaires.

Les demandes doivent être soumises en utilisant le formulaire Web de la Réunion du Bassin du Congo pour 2020. La date limite de soumission est fixé au 29 février 2020.

Les journalistes sélectionnés pour participer à la réunion seront informés au plus tard le 31 mars 2020.

The Pulitzer Center is pleased to announce, as part of the Rainforest Journalism Fund, that we are now accepting applications from journalists working in the Congo Basin interested in participating in a three-day workshop & networking convening in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The deadline for applications is February 29, 2020.

The Pulitzer Center will cover the costs of transportation, accommodations, meals and non-alcoholic beverages for the duration of the convening for selected applicants. The convening will be open to as many as 20 journalists selected from across the Congo Basin region, including Rainforest Journalism Fund grantees. Independent (freelance) and staff journalists of any nationality are welcome to apply. Preference will be given to journalists who report on environment issues in the following countries: Cameroon, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Congo-Brazzaville, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon.

The workshops will be tailored to the specific challenges or key issues for reporting on environment issues in the Congo Basin. The convening will run from May 22-24 in Kinshasa, Demoratic Republic of the Congo. Applicants must agree to arrive in Kinshasa on Thursday, May 21, and be available through Sunday, May 24 so that they may participate in the full Congo Basin Rainforest Journalism Fund convening. Applicants will be responsible for obtaining required travel visas.

Applications should be submitted using the 2020 Congo Basin Convening webform. Deadline for submissions is February 29, 2020.

Journalists selected to attend the convening will be notified by March 31, 2020.
